Peaceful sunshine psychology inc. is a private practice based in the northern California bay area. We provide high quality and multiculturally competent psychotherapy to California residents online and in-person. 

We are currently recruiting part-time and full-time licensed psychotherapists who share the same values as we do to join the team. This will be hourly W2 positions.

We value strong relationships within the team, with clients, and in the community. We strive to provide exceptional service to people from different backgrounds and identify, using evidence-based approaches while incorporating assessments and technology.

Requirements:

  • Active LMFT/LCSW/LPCC license or active license in clinical/counseling psychology (PhD or PsyD from an accredited university) in California

  • Available 30 hours a week with the expectation of holding at least 25 attended client hours for a full-time position, or a minimum of 15 attended sessions per week for a part-time position.

  • Practice evidence-based psychotherapy, such as CBT, DBT, ACT, MBCT, EFT, Gottman methods.  

  • Communicate with other mental health providers and provide referrals as needed

  • Complete and maintain timely session notes

  • Adhere to policy, procedures, HIPPA, and professional code of ethics and state licensing regulations.

  • Attain weekly case consultations.

  • Passionate to deliver culturally competent and outcome-efficient care online AND in-person.

  • Strong interest in working with immigrant families and working professionals. 

  • Participate in net-working and/or outreach events. 

  • Interest to provide supervision to other staff members preferred.

  • Not concurrently employed in another private practice or group practice setting.

  • Multicultural and multilingual preferred. Mandarin proficiency is highly preferred but not required.
